Astana to get its own Botanical Garden
The construction of a Botanical Garden in Astana will start in Astana on April 21, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Astana Akim Imangali Tasmagambetov, who reported to Kazakhstan’s President on the progress in construction of the facility.
“The Botanical Garden is located to the south of the administrative center on the property adjacent to the eastern part of the Olympic Center. A detailed concept has been prepared and work is currently in process for the development of the project’s feasibility study. Following your instructions, work on the Botanic Garden will start on April 21 during the traditional Saturday city clean-up. We plan to arrange a mass tree planting on that day,” Imangali Tasmagambetov at the meeting on further development of Astana on April 11, www.tengrinews.kz wrote.
