Kazakhstanis come 59th in UN’s World Happiness Report
    Experts from the Earth Institute have presented the first ever World Happiness Report at the United Nations Conference on Happiness on April 2.
    The report reviews the state of happiness in the world today, including criteria such as political freedom, strong social networks, an absence of corruption, and health. According to the institute, the ratings reflect a new worldwide demand for more attention to happiness and the absence of misery as criteria for government policy.
    The World Happiness Report ranks Kazakhstan as the 59th happiest nation in the world, ahead of Russia (79th place), Belarus (62), India (97), China (105).
    The happiest countries in the world are Denmark, Norway, Finland. The least happy country is Togo, Kazinform said.
