Pavlyuk Slaying Suspect identified as Former Kyrgyz Security Officer

    Kazakhstani police have identified one of the two suspects in the December slaying of Kyrgyzstani journalist Gennady Pavlyuk as former Kyrgyz state security officer, Aldayar Ismankulov, reported October 14.
    Kazakhstani police announced the arrests October 6.
    The second suspect is a resident of the Eastern Kazakhstani Oblast, reported.
    Assassins threw Pavlyuk from a sixth-storey window in Almaty last December, Central Asia Online reports.
