Prime Minister orders Security Plan for 2011 Winter Asian Games

    Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Karim Masimov, during a meeting in Almaty akimat ordered the preparation of a security plan for the 7th Asian Winter Games 2011, Kazakhstan Today reports.
    The Prime Minister said we need to prepare an accurate security plan for the Asian Winter Games 2011. "Almaty and Astana need to be prepared until May 1. In the first week of May, we will hold a session of the Organizing Committee for preparing for the Winter Asian Games, and we will devote it to the questions of safety, customs, and security."
    "We are working with the KNB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs on security issues," Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports, Talgat Ermegiyaev said, according to Kazakhstan Today.
